New students participating in UNI Now gathered on Thursday, Aug. 22 for Maucker Union Live.
The fun-filled evening, scheduled from 9 p.m. to midnight, included games, a DJ, mug-painting and a photobooth. Attendees were able to put together toy kits for MercyOne Hospitals in Waterloo, and UNI’s Ukulele Club hosted mini-classes in the Presidential Room every 40 minutes.
Brass band BYOBrass performed a set that included “Rude” by MAGIC!, “Problem” by Ariana Grande” and “Bulletproof” by La Roux.
