Sean Brown, 22, Psychology Major “I’m from a small town in Iowa, and (UNI) just feels too much like that town. I don’t get the college experience out here. I went to a community college last year and I got more of a college experience over there than I have over here.”

Madison Hansen, 21, Elementary Education major “For math majors, most of the math professors don’t actually know how to teach because they don’t have any background in education, they are just mathematicians. So no one does good in those classes because it’s way too hard.”

Caleb Shea, 21, Biology major “The lack of respect people have for other people’s possessions, like cars in general. And the WRC, I know it’s a gym and everything, but put a candle in there or something, it reeks.”

Damian Rivera, 22, Political Science major “My biggest pet peeve I’d say personally, there’s nowhere to smoke for smokers. It’s a bad habit, I’m not proud I have it, but you can’t smoke on campus, and they will fine you for it.”

Maddison Hofmann, 21, Psychology Major “My biggest pet peeve about UNI is the lack of mental health resources. They don’t have enough counselors… after the first week of classes (the appointments) fill up and it’s impossible to make an appointment for the rest of the semester.”
