Northern Iowan editorial team visits Washington D.C. for the ACP Conference

The Northern Iowan recieved 5th place in Best of Show for print newspaper.

While in D.C., the NI editorial staff got to see iconic landmarks such as the U.S. Capitol.
The NI editorial staff at the Lincoln Memorial. The group also visited the U.S. Capitol, Washington Monument, and World War 2 Memorial.
Sports Editor Cohen Kamaus and Assistant Sports Editor Michael Spahn at the Washington Capitals NHL game.
The group attend the Washington Capitals vs Minnesota Wild hockey game. The Capitals won 5-1.
While at the ACP conference, the NI editorial staff got to hear from journalism professionals from around the country.
