Capitalism is not killing our planet

Capitalism is not killing our planet. Earth is a lot tougher than the human race. It will out last us, deal with it.

That is another argument for another time, though.

Why is it that people view capitalism as evil? It is the system that inspired and fueled the industrial revolution. Without competition there is no incentive to succeed.

Do you know why organic foods don’t sell well? It isn’t because the other non-organic companies cheat, it is because they have found ways to make a lot of food at a very cheap price. The organic foods don’t have any more nutrients than non-organic. They just make you feel better because you aren’t hurting “Mother Earth.” Eat them if you want, it is a free country, just don’t make me eat them.

Capitalism is what propelled America to a world super power in only 200 years. Sounds like a long time to a society with the attention span of a gnat, but that is historically unheard of. If you say goodbye to capitalism, say goodbye to your high standard of living.

By the way, Earth naturally expels far more carbon into the air than humanity could even dream of, whether it be a volcanic eruption or an underwater heat vent.
