Over the weekend, the UNI Office of Public Safety issued two campus-wide emails reporting that two sexual assaults had occurred.

The first occurred in the afternoon on Friday, Jan. 19, at approximately 3 p.m., and the second occurred between 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, and 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20.

According to the email, the first assault occurred in the UNI Dome during a non-athletic event. The perpetrator was a male. The second assault occurred in an on-campus residence hall. The perpetrator was a male acquaintance.

These assaults mark the first and second instances of sexual misconduct reported this semester and the fifth and sixth reports of sexual misconduct reported on campus this academic year at UNI.
