Over the weekend, the UNI Office of Public Safety issued a campus-wide email reporting that a sexual assault had occurred.

The assault occurred between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 14.

According to the email, the assault occurred in an on-campus building, and the perpetrator was a male that the student had met earlier that evening.

This assault marks the third instance of sexual misconduct reported this semester and the seventh report of sexual misconduct reported on campus this academic year at UNI.
