Over the weekend, the UNI Office of Public Safety issued a campus-wide email reporting that a sexual assault had occurred.

The assault occurred sometime between midnight and 3 a.m on Saturday, August 18th. 

According to the e-mail, the victim was raped in an on-campus residence hall after a male approached her on the Hill and offered to walk her to her residence.
