On the morning of Monday, Oct. 8, the UNI Office of Public Safety issued a campus-wide email  statement reporting that a rape had occurred over the weekend.

The incident occurred between midnight and 12:30 a.m. in a campus residence hall. It marks the second reported instance of sexual assault this semester.
