I am a junior majoring in Digital Media Production with a minor in Theatre. I’ve been working for the Northern Iowan since January of 2024 as a Campus Life Writer, Film Critic, and Photographer. Being a part of this organization has developed my skills in writing, enhanced my critical thinking significantly, and has given me the opportunity to further develop my love for media exploration. I have a passion for film, writing, acting, music and overall, love discovering new aspects amongst the arts. Media literacy, accuracy, and storytelling are the most important aspects to me when it comes to the work I conduct as a journalist. Outside of the Newspaper, I am a member of the Varsity Men’s Glee Club, actively participate in productions for TheatreUNI, assist in broadcasting for ESPN+, enjoy vintage music and fashion, and love watching movies, as well making them.
